NOTICE OF MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the 49th Annual General Meeting of SRI SIVA DURGA TEMPLE will be held at the Temple premises on Saturday, 22nd October 2016 at 1.00pm.

01   Welcome Address by Interim Hon. Secretary

02   President’s Address

03   Adoption of the Agenda and Standing Orders

04   To confirm the Minutes of the 48th AGM held on 26 July 2015

05   To confirm the 49th Annual Report

06   To consider and approve the expenditure estimates for Financial Year 2016

07   To confirm the Income and Expenditure for the year ended 2016 and the Balance Sheet

08   To consider any questions arising out of the Agenda for which at least seven (7) clear days’ notice in writing         shall be given to Interim Hon. Secretary by 15th October 2016.

09   To consider any resolutions for which at least seven (7) days notice shall be given to Interim Hon. Secretary by 15th October 2016.

10   Appointment of Trustee as Election Officer.

11   By-Election of Hon. Secretary (due to demise of former Hon. Secretary) for which nomination forms have been received by the Interim Hon. Secretary by 15th October 2016 with at least 7 clear days’ notice.

12   By-Election of Hon. Assistant Secretary to the Management Committee (due to resignation of former Hon. Asst Secretary) for which nomination forms have been received by the Interim Hon. Secretary by 15th October 2016 with at least seven (7) clear days’ notice.

13   Appointment of External Auditors

Your membership number can be found before your name on Page 1 (Notice of Meeting).

Kindly bring this letter and your Identity Card to the meeting. Those who do not bring this letter and the Identity Card will not be permitted to attend the AGM.
Nomination forms for election of Hon. Secretary and Hon. Asst Secretary will be available for collection at the Temple’s admin counter during Temple operating hours.
No subscription will be collected on the day of the meeting.
All questions to be raised out of the Agenda must be submitted to the Hon. Interim Secretary before 15th October 2016.
Any resolution must likewise be written and submitted to the Hon. Interim Secretary before 15th October 2016.
Please note that unless these questions and resolutions are submitted before relevant timelines, the Chairman shall not allow members to raise them at the AGM.
All members must use the microphone and shall only address the Chairman.
